20th August 2010 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: 30 to 40 mph Surf / Sea State: Waves Air Temperature: 19 Sea Temperature: OK Weather: O/cast then sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Arrived late due to the M6 to find the bay very busy with kites and windsurfers (on a Friday). I felt overpowered on 3.7 and struggled a bit. Came in for a break and the wind dropped. I stuck with 3.7 and enjoyed the lighter winds with some backside rides. Changed up to 90 litres and found this worked really well for float and ride. Finally changed to 4.7, but I was wasted by then - pity as the waves looked nice and clean and the sun was out. Only two boards out by then. |
